Defensive Driving Courses

Coaching the Maintenance Vehicle Operator

METROGARD’s presentation is a 2-hour interactive presentation developed on the success of well-known defensive driving concepts introduced by the National Safety Council. Training module is geared specifically for highway departments & public works operations.

The “coaching series” is intended to offer experienced drivers & maintenance equipment operators an opportunity to gain additional insight to enhance their defensive driving knowledge when operating out on the road, on a work site or back in the yard.

The main thrust is to offer tips and concepts of defensive driving to remind drivers to use when encountering a potential collision.

The module also assists in introducing new techniques that will assist your operators to “fine-tune” their respective collision-Control skills.
