Defensive Driving Courses
Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator Police
METROGARD’s presentation is a 2-hour interactive presentation developed on the success of well-known defensive driving concepts introduced by the National Safety Council. This training module is geared specifically for police departments & developed by law enforcement professionals for police vehicle operators.
The “coaching series” is intended to offer experienced operators of various city and town police vehicles an opportunity to gain additional insight to enhance their defensive driving knowledge when operating out on the road. The course does not encompass the specialized topic of police pursuit and policy. (METROGARD offers regional seminars involving trained law enforcement professionals that discuss pursuit policy – Watch for future training bulletins for seminar info.)
